Welcome to Marc Cohen Yoga!

NEWS: I have too much going on in my life and something has to give.  I have decided to stop teaching yoga  in order to balance my busy law practice and new marriage.   It has been a pleasure serving you and look forward to serving you again.

About me

Attorney by day, yoga teacher by night, and a yoga student for life!    My journey to yoga began as a result of serious knee injuries to both my knees.  A friend recommended yoga as a way to help heal after numerous knee surgeries and gave me a couple of yoga VHS tapes so I could practice at home.

The tapes got old and I eventually found my way into a yoga class.  To say the least I was hooked.  My practice went from a couple times a week to a daily and sometimes even twice daily practice.  I eventually felt that I had outgrown the inland empire and took my practice west to Los Angeles where I study under some of the best teachers the United States has to offer.  I fell in love with Vinyasa Flow yoga and was compelled to bring the Los Angeles style of Yoga to the Inland Valley.  After researching numerous yoga schools I made the decision to do my teacher training at White Lotus Foundation under the tutelage of  Ganga White and Tracey Rich and also  have had the pleasure of learning from Annie Carpenter, Raghunath Cappo, Erich Schiffman, Shiva Rae, Max Strom, Darren Rhodes, Scott Lewicki, Vinnie Marino, Brock and Krista Cahill and Ericka Burkhalter.

My classes are some of the most challenging classes in the area and are not appropriate for absolute beginners.  Strength, Stamina,  Balance, and Flexibility are challenged in this extremely focused class that is rooted in breath and designed to quite the mind.  I play progressive music from house to rock and recommend you come with an intention to be inspired and a towel to soak up the sweat!  (Really, bring a towel to soak up the sweat.)

Namaste,
